SAD TO SAY ..... BUT NOT GOOD FOR THE BUSINESS PEOPLE .... ESPECIALLY THOSE FASHION DESIGNERS ... AS WELL AS THOSE OF THE KAKI-LIMA TRADERS AND THE PASAR MALAM TRADERS AND THOSE BOUTIQUES OPERATORS ETC ETC.
Ya! Bila Tok Siti decided to londeh all the tudung ... no more kain tudung selendang or anything of that sort covering her head ..... that means:
No more opportunists can ever try to make unnecessary big bucks from all sorts of designed so-called the tudungs of Tok Siti's brand. Just because the cheap material type of kain tudung also can make an explosion in its price-tag. The higher the offer price .... as long as Tok Siti's brand-name is there .....crazy people will go for it regardless of the high price.
Who will benefit? Besides those boutiques, the kaki-lima and the pasar malam traders ..... Of course the fashion-designers (opportunists like Tok Shah Reza - who plays on religious concept to boost his fashion-biz - just like once he did try to bring Islamic concept of music and fashion shows into pubs & grill as such may give approval for allowing muslims to enter the pubs, bar and such for nightly entertainments).
Who will tend to lose? .... that goes without saying ... her fans of course .... since they'll be the consumers rushing like mad for all kinds and fancies of the latest designs introduced under Tok Siti's brand-name in the market.
Yes! If Tok Siti continues putting on the tudung .... Then ...you can find all sorts of brands in the market ... be it supermarkets ..... hypermarkets.....five-foot ways, pasar malam, boutiques, bazaars and all sorts.
After all people of this new millenium generations are crazy for fashions and always tend to follow and use any brand-name of their idol or idols .... whether in the tudung fashion or not .... that means they dress to kill - meaning to say that - when come to putting on the tudungs it's not so much of being a faithful follower of faith in religious beliefs or rites as 'tutup aurat' in Islam by covering your (for females) with the kain tudung is 'wajib' i.e. compulsory. But when the real intention is more for showing-off (to tunjuk2) .... it merely defeat the whole purpose. You or they the Muslimahs may get worst of the sins (dosa instead of pahala) for being acting in multiple wrongdoings in pretext form. We can see nowadays that there are so many of those kind of the so-called "the great pretenders" roaming the streets and the byways. That also reflects Islam in its artificial form ... more of a guise rather than truly genuine form.
Sekali lagi .......Syabas! to Tok Siti .... instead of being a great pretender .... be as you are ....
its better to be your self...... be your ownself.
